"I would say the best advice that I’ve been given, and what I always say when someone asks for advice, is to make music you want to hear. Because at the end of the day you should be proud and excited about the art that you make, and if you try to appeal to every outside voice’s opinion, then you’ll start to make music that you don’t even like anymore.
So if you make music that you would actively listen to yourself, then you’re on the right path".
